Cookies Policy

This Cookies Policy explains how GM Garden Landscapes uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve your experience, and to provide information to the site's owners.
How we use cookies
Our website sets no cookies of its own. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not profile visitors. The only cookies that may be set come from the third-party content embedded in our pages, described below.
Third-party content
Two parts of our site are provided by other companies and load as part of the page. When they do, that provider may set its own cookies and receive your IP address under its own privacy policy:
- Google Maps — shows the area we work in. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Facebook — plays a short video of one of our finished projects, hosted on our Facebook page. See Meta’s privacy policy.
Fonts and icons
Our typography and icons are served by Google Fonts and a public icon library. These do not set cookies, but your browser does connect to those services to download the files, which means they receive your IP address.
Controlling these cookies
None of the above are needed for the site to work — they simply add a map and a video. If you would rather they were not set, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser’s private browsing mode. Details of how to do that are in the next section.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies, though doing so may affect how parts of this or other websites work. Guidance is usually found in your browser's "Help" or "Privacy" settings.
Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR, regulated in the UK by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). For more general information about cookies and how to manage them, visit the ICO's guidance at ico.org.uk.
More information
To understand how we handle the information we collect, please see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a revised date.
